Nestor Carbonell is an American Actor best known for his role as Richard Alpert in drama series Lost and Anthony Garcia in movie The Dark Knight.
Born in New York City to a Cuban family, Nestor along with his parents migrated to United States in 1960.
He attended The British School while he went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University in 1990.
Carbonell’s debut role as an actor came in 1989 where he portrayed the character Alberto Cordova in TV series “As the World Turns”.
He then moved on to appear on several television series including Law & Order, A Different World, Good Advice, Brotherly Love and The John Larroquette Show.
Carbonell’s arrived in Hollywood industry in 2000 and made his debut as screenwriter with the comedy film Attention Shoppers, in which he starred as a lead role also.
He then moved on to play movies including Jack the Dog, Manhood, The Lost City but his breakthrough as an actor came when he was cast by Christopher Nolan in movie The Dark Knight for his role as Mayor Anthony Garcia.
Nastor Carbonell’s step forward in Television industry later on after he was signed to play major role in famous drama series Lost.
He appeared in nine episodes of fifth season but was upgraded to main cast member in sixth and final season.
